"MartialHorror" is a website dedicated to my two favorite film genre's: Martial arts and horror. While I do make special exceptions as to what I review, the website mainly focuses on these two genres. However, I also use the focus somewhat liberally. If a movie simply has martial arts, or has it's scary moments, I may also review them.

UPDATE: 2/21: This website has moved to www.bitfister.com/martialhorror.

MARTIAL ARTS REVIEWS: Contains Kung Fu, Samurai, Action, westerns, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.
(Note on Reviews: Some movies might blend martial arts and horror, so I have to use my judgment to see where it fits)

2/21- MARTIALHORROR HAS MOVED to a new website. I've had a long and interesting history with freewebs, but I really have been struggling with the html. It's a constant hassle and everyone has been telling me to move anyway. So please check out the new site, where you can read my review of "Tremors". There will also be more emphasis on my video reviews (especially "Critiquing the Critics") and I've finally got a twitter account up and running. https://twitter.com/#!/MartialHorror. THIS WEBSITE WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED SO BOOKMARK THAT PAGE. I will compile all of my reviews at a later time. Sadly, this will probably mean no more "most read reviews", but I will try to do more with Fistful of MartialHorror.
2/18- Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is actually pretty funny at times, but the script is a bit of a trainwreck and the action isn't very memorable.
2/14- Night of the Demons (2009) is another pointless remake, but at least it's an entertaining splatterfest, complete with lots of gore and nudity.
2/13- Zatoichi's Vengeance appears to be just another Zatoichi movie at first glance (not a bad thing). But it actually brilliantly inverts the formula we've become used too, making it one of the more unique entries within the franchise.
2/12- Dog Soldiers is a highly entertaining action/horror film about werewolves fighting a squad of soldiers. It might be dumb, but it makes up for it with sheer intensity.
2/11- Fireball is a 2009 action movie that combines basketball with Muy Thai kickboxing. It's pretty enjoyable, but very faulty.
